The Cañada Auxiliary of Professionals recently donated six portable cellphone chargers to the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital’s Emergency Department, as a free service for emergency room patients.
CAP is an auxiliary of the Assistance League of Flintridge. CAP members participate in five philanthropic programs, including its Scholarship Program for local students going to community college or other two-year programs; Cappy Bears; SPROUTS; CAP Care PACs; and joins ALF on Operation School Bell. Sales from Bargain Box, ALF’s thrift shop, support CAP’s philanthropies.
