Sue’s Garden recently received a donation of more than $1,800 from funds raised during the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge’s food drive.
Sue’s Garden provides food and hygiene items to local families who need assistance during transitional times. Distributions happen twice a month at the Highlands Church in La Crescenta.
“We are so excited to receive this donation,” said Debra Coffeen, president of Sue’s Garden. “We will be using the money to purchase additional equipment, shop for perishable items before distributions and buy an additional fridge to store the food.”
