Senior Families Donate $52,880 to LCUSD Schools

The La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation has received $52,880 for their endowment fund with the help from senior class parent donations.
Early on, the foundation recognized the importance of the programs and class size reductions that are supported by the foundation and wanted to be sure that not only children now will benefit, but future generations of La Cañada students would, too.
The fund helps support future students that will go through the La Cañada Unified School District and have the same opportunities as the students who came before them.
It also functions as a sturdy foundation to ensure that LCUSD schools will always have resources available to provide future children with the same quality education that current children have enjoyed.
The growth of the fund over the years has allowed it to be the single-largest donor to the annual fund and in turn, to LCUSD, each year.
