LCFEF Chinese Family Party Raises $30K for Schools

The La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation held its fifth annual Chinese Family Gathering at New Moon Restaurant to raise funds for La Cañada Flintridge public schools. The event brought together more than 30 guests and raised more than $30,000. The chairwoman of this year’s event is Lola Deitrich. She worked with La Cañada Unified School District administrators Wendy Sinnette (superintendent), Jamie Lewsadder (chief technology officer), Karen Hurley (director of programs and services), Jim Cartnal (LCHS principal) and Cory Pak (Palm Crest Elementary principal). Brent Kuszyk, LCUSD board president, also attended.
