It was a beautiful, warm, sunny morning in La Cañada Flintridge, as 1,200 runners kicked off Thanksgiving Day festivities by participating in the Community Center’s 24th annual run and food drive. Leland Waters was the emcee, welcoming special guests and thanking sponsors. Music played while Extreme Boot Camp staff led a stretching exercise. Eager runners lined up and were off, heading up Foothill Boulevard.
