Chamber Holds Installation Dinner

The La Cañada Flintridge Chamber of Commerce and Community Association held its 106th installation and awards gala at the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club last Thursday. The event honored Cañada Jewelry and Gifts (suppliers of the tiarras worn by Miss LCF and her court) as the Chamber’s Business of the Year, Harriet Hammons as Ambassador of the Year, Lynne Graves as Volunteer of the Year, Katherine Markgraf with the Community Service Award, Steve Schneider with the Community Spirit Award, Mandy Redfern as Educator of the Year, Yvonne Ramirez as Entrepreneur of the Year, Community Center of LCF as Organization of the Year, and there was a special honor to Uma Shrivastava. One of the evening’s highlights was Hazel Valentine being crowned as Miss La Cañada Flintridge. The evening wrapped up with the installation of the officers and directors for 2018 and closing remarks from incoming Chairman of the Board Steve Hronek. LCF resident Pat Anderson is the chamber’s CEO; Ron Pearson served as the evening’s emcee.
