LCF Educational Foundation Meets the STARS

More than 100 people attended La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation’s annual Meet the STARS (Superintendents, Teachers and Administrators Responsible for Our Students) event. The meet-and-greet took place at the home of LCFEF board member and host Rodney Swan, and featured a cocktail hour and appetizers catered from Gelson’s store. “We thought that giving our donors access to talk to and ask questions of our district administrators would be a nice way to thank them for their support, along with a lovely evening spent with like-minded individuals,” said LCFEF Vice President Caroline Anderson. “School families who are ‘early bird’ donors and who make outright gifts of $1,200 or more at Back to School Night are all invited to this event. Their early giving really gives LCFEF the lift-off we need to jump-start our annual campaign each year,” said LCFEF Executive Director Marilyn Yang.
