Approximately 250 people gathered for the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation’s Wine Auction, which raised a record-setting $142,000 to benefit LCFEF’s Endowment Fund. Jennifer Ferry and Joe Radabaugh co-chaired the event’s committee, which also included members Gillan Abercrombie Frame, Leslie Chang, Andrew Johnsen, Joleen O’Brien, Rob Olson, Matt Weber and Emily Woods. LCFEF Endowment Fund Trustees include Valerie Aenlle-Rocha, Bob Cooper, Chris Davis, Stephanie Fossan, Chad Heath, Craig Mazin and John Petersen. “The 2017 Wine Auction to benefit the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation Endowment Fund was tremendously successful,” said LCFEF President Kevin Martin. “It is important that we raise capital to ensure that the quality of our public schools remains exceptional well into the future. The record amount of funds we raised at the auction will be invested in a manner that should pay our schools back exponentially over time. We are incredibly grateful that the community shares and supports our mission that La Cañada Flintridge forever remains a center of academic excellence.” The event was held at Alison and Chad Heath’s lovely home. Mike Goldberg served as auctioneer; Marilyn Yang is LCFEF’s executive director.
