The public is welcome to join CalRecycle for a sustainable and rewarding experience at its filter exchange event on July 13 at O’Reilly Auto Parts, located at 2605 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., individuals are invited to turn in their used oil filter and receive a new one for free, along with a recycling kit for used oil and filters, while supplies last.
Participants can also recycle up to 5 gallons of used motor oil at the event.
“It’s our way of saying thank you for contributing to a greener and cleaner community,” CalRecycle said in a statement.
