Asian American and Pacific Islander parents welcomed the community to come and enjoy the festivities at the first AAPI Heritage Night, as part of AAPI Heritage month.
Held at La Cañada High School, students, parents, staff and residents attended and participated in enjoying a variety of foods, the crafting of 1000 origami cranes and making new friends.
Earlier in the month, Japanese American students taught origami sessions and a guest speaker did a presentation on wellness.
