LCIF Celebrates Dads and Grads

Lutheran Church in the Foothills will have a special Father’s Day worship service on Sunday, June 16, at 10 a.m. for dads and recent graduates. The service is a heartwarming tradition at LCIF, and among the graduates who will be recognized is Pastor Rick Hall’s son, Max, who received his undergraduate degree from Valley City State University in North Dakota.
Additionally on Sunday, LCIF welcomes Luther Richert, a representative from Mental Health LA. Richert will share insights into the organization’s vital ministry and the work it does in supporting Angelenos facing mental health crises. The importance of Mental Health L.A.’s work is further emphasized by the recent $2,000 grant it received from the Lutheran Church in the Foothills Endowment. This financial support will empower the organization to continue providing crucial services to those in need.
Due to Vacation Bible School taking place all next week in the mornings, there will be no Wednesday night fellowship on June 19. Late registration for VBS will be accepted if space permits, so interested parents are encouraged to reach out to the church for more information.
Visit lcifoothills.org for event details. For more information or to request or offer help, email office@lcifoothills.org or call (818) 790-1951. The church is located at 1700 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada Flintridge. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.
