Ann K. Schober passed away peacefully on October 9, 2023, in Allen, Texas at the age of 89. She was born to Charles and Myra (Flanmery) Kopriva on November 6, 1933, in Bloomfield, New Jersey. She lived in many very different parts of the country. Right after getting married, she and her husband Chuck moved to Minneapolis, then back to New Jersey, then to Pennsylvania. This was followed by a summer road trip in an unairconditioned car with their dog, cat, and young son to sunny Southern California. Her final move was to Texas to follow her son, daughter in-law and grandkids. Ann was a lover and supporter of animals, a hospital volunteer, and loved to travel to the California coast, the Canadian Rockies, and to her beloved Ireland. Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son, Chuck Schober and wife, Terrilee of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Chuck Schober and wife, Cherica of Godley, Texas; and granddaughter, Madelynn Schober of Dallas, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 20th, 2023, at Melissa Cemetery, 422 East Melissa Road, Melissa, Texas 75454.
