Nicholas passed away on Monday, August 8, in his Tampa, Florida residence. There has been an outpouring of support and comments on Facebook from his many friends and acquaintances. He loved helping others, especially those who needed a hand up. His well-known expertise on the soccer field was matched later in life by his generosity and giving as a dedicated, competent and caring fitness trainer.
Many friends and associates have reached out. Any and all messages can be relayed to the family at ba91011@aol.com. There will soon be a private family service in which these will be shared. Combining a sense of humor with a bright smile and a down-to-earth outlook, he was easily liked. From past teammates and coaches in La Cañada and elsewhere to fitness friends and students, the family thanks you all for your support. They believe Nick appreciated you all very much. He wanted everyone to do well and be the best they could be, while doing what they could to improve the world. He will be missed. We hope to meet him again down the line.
