Our beloved daughter Emily was called home after 25 short years, having always lived life her way.
Emily was sweet, quiet, and beautiful inside and out, with an angelic pitch-perfect voice that she was too shy to share with the world. From a very young age she loved to sing everything from Broadway musicals to classic rock to the latest pop music.
Emily also enjoyed swimming, volleyball, photography, scary movies, and seat-of-the-pants amusement park rides. Emily loved all animals and adopted as many as she could into our family.
Emily attended Paradise Canyon Elementary and La Cañada High School through 7th grade, spent a year at Hillside School, then attended Summit View High School. Emily graduated in 2016. She planned to become a veterinary technician.
Emily is survived by her parents Matthew and Timary, her sister Annie, her uncle Tom McSherry, her great aunts Thomasine Breher and Ann Gualtieri, and many cousins.
Our Emily was so dearly loved, and she will be forever missed.
