On January 22, 2024, Jeanette Berwin passed away in Los Angeles, California at the age of 82. She was married to her husband Robert Berwin for 62 years and was a loving mother to three children. Jeanette was originally from Ohio and moved to California with her family when she was 19. It was there that she met and married Robert, and together they raised their family in La Cañada. Jeanette was an active volunteer for several local charities and nursing homes including Harambee Ministries and Huntington Memorial Hospital. She was known for her friendly and outgoing personality and lived her Christian faith daily with a strong devotion to prayer. Jeanette had a great love for music, animals, nature, and enjoyed visiting Descanso Gardens. Her passing will be mourned by all who knew her.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Robert, Laura, and Gregg; her son-in-law, Patrick; her daughter-in-law, Dana; her beloved grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicholas, Jack, Sam, and Mia; and her brother, Ronald, of Granbury, TX. A funeral mass will be held at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, located at 10425 W Pico Blvd in Los Angeles on March 16th at 2 pm.
