In Loving Memory of Mary Lou Hensley
Our beloved mother, Mary Lou passed peacefully with her children beside her.
Mary was born in Paris, Texas, and moved with her family to Highland Park. She met the love of her life, Edward, in high school. Ed and Mary went on to create a life well lived for 53 years. Ed and Mary started their family early and side by side the two adventurers created a life together. Taking a road less traveled, they moved their family to the mountains, our home.
With their entrepreneurial spirit they worked as hotel/restaurant managers, ski area owner/operators, creating Hensley Enterprises, Inc. (water hauling, rubbish hauling, radio/TV transmitter, real estate and more).
Mary enjoyed many God-given gifts, that included singing, dancing, Toastmasters, travel, volunteering, and most important of all, raising their three children Ray, Tom and Linda.
Mary’s legacy lives on through her children, five grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Mary was a wonderful Mother and Friend, we will miss her beautiful smile, and the twinkle in her eyes. A very special woman who we will meet again in Heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Mary Lou on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Acton Faith Bible Church, 32643 Gem Way, Acton, CA.
