Obituary: Bruce Phillip Graham

Sept. 21, 1952-Jan. 20, 2017

It is with tremendous grief, tempered by compassion and understanding, that we share news of the passing of our father, brother, uncle and friend, Bruce Phillip Graham. On Jan. 20, 2017, after a two-year battle to recover from traumatic injuries sustained in a ladder fall at his home, enduring severe, unrelenting and ultimately unbearable pain, Bruce made the agonizing and tragic decision to end his ordeal. For a more detailed explanation of Bruce’s accident and its consequences, this column tells his story: https://goo.gl/g0BcUK.
He is survived by his children, Jessica Elisa Farrell-Graham, Brandon James Graham and Reed Brennan Graham; his brother, Mark Graham, and sisters, Linda Arslanian, Laura Thomas and Leslie Hastings. He lived a full and passionate life, traveling and exploring the world, enjoying the beauty of life in ways most could only dream of. He loved spending time with his family and friends, he adored animals, loved eating delicious food, riding his motorcycles and driving his exotic cars. Always his own boss, Bruce made his living restoring and selling classic motorcycles and cars — again, he always followed his passions!
Bruce was born in Glendale and grew up in La Cañada Flintridge, attending La Cañada schools. He bought a home on Ramsdell Avenue in La Crescenta in 1978 and lived there his remaining 39 years.
A memorial celebration will be held at his home on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 3:30 p.m. Please visit the Bruce Graham Memorial page at Facebook.com for location.
