On Aug. 18 at 2:55 p.m., Kevin Joseph Dowling went to be with his dad. Kevin passed away surrounded by people he loved; his mom, girlfriend and all his brothers and sisters. He also is survived by his many cousins, aunts and uncles, and the lives he touched as a St. Francis football coach. He truly showed everyone what it meant to be Kevinstrong, and we will never forget his ability to show strength, courage and love throughout his long, hard-fought battle with cancer.
He was always able to bring a smile to everyone’s face and the number of people who were there for him during his last days is a tribute to the number of lives he touched.
We will be celebrating Kevin’s life Friday night at La Cañada Country Club at 7 p.m. Mass will be held at St. Bede Church on Saturday, Aug. 26, at 10 a.m.
