Richard Mueller was born Jan. 9, 1929, in Milwaukee, the second-born child of
Ernest and Stacy (Radomski) Mueller. He was predeceased by his older brother, Ralph, and younger brother, Wayne, his younger sister, Charlotte (Mueller) Funk of Lubbock, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lois; children Tom, Teri, Mary Kay and Suzanne; grandchildren Jason, Luke, Eric, Alexis, J.P., Casey and Kyle; and six great-grandchildren. Richard and family moved to La Cañada Flintridge in 1965 and resided there until he “retired” to Torrance in 2003.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 1, at St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church, 1900 S. Prospect Ave., Redondo Beach, with private interment to follow.
