The Flintridge Prep varsity boys’ tennis team lost to Foothills High of Santa Ana 10-8 in the CIF Southern Section Division II championship on May 10. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
The Wolves secured a narrow CIF semifinal victory in games, 9-9 (72-57), at South Torrance on May 8.
No. 3 singles player Jeremy Sieben earned a clean sweep with a trio of 6-0 wins, while No. 1 Ray Cabrera (6-0, 6-0) and No. 2 Niko Christopoulos (6-0, 6-1) each won a pair of sets. In doubles play, the No. 2 team of Finley Shivaram and Logan Wu won a pair of sets with identical 6-1 scores.
Flintridge Prep finished the campaign as undefeated Prep League champions with a 6-0 record (21-2 overall).
