Students in the American history class taught by Sam Picture, offered at the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation’s summer school, were moving at a quick pace through the decades. They took time to focus on the 1920s and the stock market crash. Working in groups, they discussed ways they would make the stock market attractive again and ideas to return the economy at that time to prosperity.
