The LCHS Spartan Boosters will hold their annual Winter Fest, a party featuring fine wines, spirits and beers for auction on Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Thursday Club from 5:30-9 p.m. Proceeds from the event will help fund Boosters’ support of kids in grades 7-12 at La Cañada High School.
Boosters President Chris Clarkson is inviting everyone in the community (ages 21 and older) who loves fine wine and spirits, high-end beer and gourmet pizzas to enjoy a great party in the Boosters tradition.
“We’re excited to host Spartan Boosters’ annual Winter Fest wine, beer and spirits auction to support academic, athletic and extra-curricular activities at LCHS 7-12. I hope La Cañadans will come spend Super Bowl Eve with us at a great party and to help us to keep providing opportunities for our kids.”
Winter Fest Chair Craig Miller and his committee have put together a spectacular assortment of fine wines, beers and spirits for attendees to bid on at both live and silent auctions. Just a few of the most attractive items that will be up for auction include: 100-point-rated 2002 Bond Estates Melbury Red, Napa Valley; 95-point-rated “Cellar Selection” 2010 Felsina Colonia Chianti Classico “Gran Selezione,” Italy; and two cases of the highly coveted and scarce Pliny the Elder IPA, from Russian River Brewing Company.
Tickets for the event are $75 in advance and $85 at the door. Ticket price includes wood-fired artisan pizzas for dinner, along with wines and beers. Purchase your tickets online at lchsboosters.org.
