La Cañada Unified School District recently expanded its science curriculum with the Invention Convention for students in grades 5-8.
Students gathered with their invention in the La Cañada High School cafeteria. The 50 projects were required to solve an everyday problem. District science coordinator Amy Nespor organized the event and invited parents and faculty. Entries were judged by 18 judges from JPL and the community.
