Christine Chant, Holly Breckheimer and Christina Conwell are co-chairing the 35th Annual La Cañada Spring Home Tour on Friday, April 29. Excitement is in the air as they bring back this cherished community event that also serves as the largest annual fundraiser for the La Cañada High School PTAs. Ticket holders are invited to tour four unique homes between the hours of 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. An all-day Marketplace is open to the community from 9:30am-5pm — no ticket required. Coffee Catering LA will be serving coffee from 9:30-12:30, gourmet box lunches are available pre-sale and on-site, and a wide array of vendors will donate a portion of sales to the fundraiser. The location of the Marketplace will be posted at lacanadahometour.com early April 29 for those wishing to shop and/or buy a same-day ticket to the Home Tour or After Party.
Participating Marketplace vendors include Cathy Steward Pottery, Classy Bag Lady, Dilmit Singh Watercolors, Eclectic Collective, Emily Jilg Co, Further Products, JMeeks Apothecary, Linda Deiotte Paintings, Little Garden Company, Nikki and Suzy, One Hope Wines, Shoo for Good, Shop by Mare, and Vahe Twisted. Party Books will be sold at the Marketplace, as well as Opportunity Baskets that include a limited edition Louis Vuitton mini pochette, five bottles of premium wine, a stunning custom silver and natural diamond ring by Laura Tadesco, and a one-of-a-kind LCHS Football package including 50 yard line seats, snacks and gear to keep you warm and hydrated this fall season! The evening’s After Party will conclude the day from 6-8 p.m. under the gorgeous oaks of a breathtaking Flintridge home, highlighting the musical talents of the LCHS Jazz Band — Micah Ruan Quintet — while attendees enjoy the in-kind donations of margaritas and guacamole from Los Gringos Locos and signature cocktails and deviled eggs from The Proper Bar & Restaurant. Opportunity basket winners will be announced here, too.
Pre-sale tickets are on sale now for the Tour ($50) and After Party ($40) at lacanadahometour.com, and will be emailed the day before the event. Day-of purchases increase by $5 per ticket and will be sold at the Marketplace, address to be posted on the website the morning of the event, or online at the individual homes via your cell phone.
