The La Cañada High School Band and Orchestra recently held their major fundraiser in the school’s festively decorated quad. There was a silent auction and live music from the LCHS jazz band.
Parents, friends and family then journeyed to the auditorium for a Pops Concert, which featured the 7/8 concert band and string orchestra, the advanced orchestra, Camerata La Cañada and the symphonic band.
The evening’s hosts were LCHS Principal Jim Cartnal and Chris McDonald, an Emmy Award-winning producer as well as this year’s president of the LCHS Music Parents Association.
