Curtis Honored by Colleagues, Local Officials

First published in the July 28 print issue of the Outlook Valley Sun.

Former LCF Mayor Jonathan Curtis (right) was recently recognized for his service as a member of the La Cañada Flintridge City Council and Planning Commission the past 15 years. Curtis, who did not seek reelection after his term concluded July 19, was honored with gifts and certificates from officials such as Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger and state Sen. Anthony Portantino. City Manager Mark Alexander (left) gave the crowd in City Hall chambers a laugh during a City Council meeting last week when he presented the outgoing councilman — known for often asking questions regarding hits from the license-plate reader cameras following public safety reports — with a Flock safety camera as a gift for his years of service.
