State Assemblyman Chris Holden, U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, L.A. County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo and state Sen. Anthony Portantino were among a cadre of high-profile politicians who celebrated the Rose Bowl’s 100th anniversary as the Legacy Foundation hosted its “Party of the Century” gala. The event, which was held on the stadium’s field and attended by 1,200 supporters, raised a whopping $2.1 million and is already regarded as one of the finest gala fundraisers in the city’s history.
