Spartans Lose at Brentwood, 16-2

The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ lacrosse team lost to visiting Brentwood School of Los Angeles, 16-2, in a Gold Coast League game last Monday.
Junior Dylan Jeffries recorded one goal and two saves, junior Keshav Fernando scored once, and junior Mason O’Brien and sophomore Finn Valderhaug each had one assist. Meanwhile, senior goalie Kyle McKinney made 22 saves.
The Spartans lost at St. John Bosco High in Bellflower, 18-4, in a nonleague game last Wednesday.
LCHS (2-6 overall, 0-3 in league) will visit Heritage Christian High in Northridge for a league matchup on Friday, March 17, at 4:30 p.m.
