Lutheran Church Continues Lenten Soup Suppers, Food Drive

Lutheran Church in the Foothills invites everyone to enjoy a hearty soup supper each Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. in the church’s Fellowship Hall during the season of Lent.
“We are all ‘longing for belonging’ these days, and our Lenten Soup Suppers are a great way to meet new people and catch-up with folks you know,” said Pastor Chuck Bunnell. “Your love, concern and attention could be exactly what someone needs on a Wednesday evening. Come for the soup, stay for the conversation and a short and meaningful worship.”
Sunday services are held at 10 a.m., in person and online. Children’s Church is offered each Sunday.
Additionally, LCIF’s ongoing food drive to help feed the hungry is accepting canned goods. Donations can be dropped off during church services or anytime during the week at the church office.
Visit lcifoothills.org for event details. For more information or to request/offer help, email office@lcifoothills.org, or call (818) 790-1951. The church is located at 1700 Foothill Blvd. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.
