Presbyterian Church Brings Worship to Memorial Park

La Cañada Presbyterian Church will be taking church outside on Sunday, April 16, offering one worship service at 10 a.m. in Memorial Park, followed by an 11:15 a.m. picnic, featuring free lunch and fun games for the whole family.
The All-Community Worship and Picnic in the Park event has become an annual tradition and this year is part of the church’s 75th anniversary celebrations.
Free-will donations given for the lunch, as well as a bake sale proceeds, will help raise funds for the inter-generational mission team that’s going to Latvia this summer. The team is traveling to help LCPC Outreach Partner Igors Rautmanis as he empowers a new church and her leadership in the former-Soviet country.
At the worship service, the Rev. Ross Purdy will be launching into his new sermon series: “Living in Light of the Resurrection.” All are invited to attend. Memorial Park is located at 1301 Foothill Blvd.
