The fifth graders in Rob Hajek’s class at Paradise Canyon Elementary School recently discussed what Veteran’s Day meant to them.
Students made patriotic cards to honor veterans. Inside, they expressed their thanks.
Students who had a veteran family member gave their special card to them. The other cards were taken by Hajek to a local Veterans of Foreign Wars site with the hope that veterans there will know they are appreciated.
