The La Cañada High School varsity girls’ soccer team lost to visiting Mayfield Senior of Pasadena 6-1 in a nonleague game on Jan. 8. Julia Sada scored the lone goal for the Spartans.
The Spartans (8-3 overall, 1-1 in league) will visit San Marino for a league game on Jan. 17 at 4 p.m. before hosting South Pasadena on Jan. 24.

The Wolves shut out host Arcadia 3-0 in a nonleague game on Jan. 5.
Junior Dagny Marion, junior Valentina Mancilla and freshman Avery McCormack each scored one goal, senior captain Zaria Echemendia tallied two assists, and senior captain Stella Smit recorded one assist.
Flintridge Prep (8-3-1, 1-0) will visit Providence High in Burbank for a league match on Jan. 12 at 3 p.m. before hosting Palos Verdes Chadwick on Jan. 17.

The Tologs lost to visiting Marymount High of Los Angeles 2-1 in a Mission League matchup on Jan. 5.
FSHA lost to visiting Sierra Canyon High of Chatsworth 2-1 in its league opener on Jan. 3 as Sachi Kaneko-Grun scored for the Tologs.
The Tologs (3-5-2, 0-2) will host Sherman Oaks Notre Dame for a league match on Jan. 12 at 5 p.m. before visiting Marymount High on Jan. 19.
