Your story last week about the City Council’s midyear budget adjustments failed to tell readers that the Council increased the litigation budget by $820,000.
The omission is understandable, though, as the $820,000 increase was never brought up during the City Council meeting, but was instead buried in a lengthy staff report.
Also buried in the staff report and never brought up during the meeting was a $97,400 cut to the Public Safety budget.
