The Apple Cart to Sell Spring Home Tour Tickets

Reviving a decadeslong partnership, The Apple Cart will once again sell tickets for the La Cañada Spring Home Tour. The event will be held on Friday, April 26, and is the largest fundraiser for La Cañada High School 7/8 PTA and 9-12 PTSA. It aims to raise $80,000 for the one-day event.
The day’s events include tours at four beautiful homes, each chosen for their unique architectural style and inspirational design, an all-day marketplace at the historic Lanterman House, and an evening reception held outdoors at an additional beautiful home.
The Apple Cart sold Spring Home Tour tickets for decades before online sales became the only way to purchase tickets.
“When the pandemic hit, the move was made to bring all our ticket sales online,” said Rachel Koelzer, 2024 Spring Home Tour co-chair. “We’ve heard throughout the years that our community missed the chance to buy real tickets [at] a local business. When we sought to launch a new ticketing platform, we knew we had to find a way to include The Apple Cart, which has been a tremendous community partner for so long.”
Peggy Stevens, The Apple Cart’s longtime owner, added: “I love supporting the Spring Home Tour and the local PTAs. My family had wonderful experiences in the schools and I’m thrilled to be able to do something again for our educational community. And I know my customers will be delighted.”
The Apple Cart will give back 25% of sales on the day of the tour (April 26) to the La Cañada High School 7/8 PTA and 9-12 PTSA.
Tickets for the Spring Home Tour are $60 payable via check or cash and are available now through April 25 (day before the tour) at The Apple Cart, 1518 Foothill Blvd. Home Tour hours on April 26 are 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. Marketplace hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; admission is free. Tickets to the Evening Reception (6-8 p.m.) are $50.
