The Los Altos Auxiliary of Sycamores’ annual wine tasting event was held on April 21 at the La Cañada Thursday Club.
“Vino e Amici (wine with friends)” delighted 160 supporters who enjoyed great wine, delicious Italian-themed food, camaraderie and three arias sung by young opera singer Dominic Salvati.
Sycamores and El Nido representatives spoke about their programs and personal experiences, allowing guests to understand the importance and impact of Los Altos Auxiliary’s volunteer work.
The Los Altos Auxiliary is a group of local women who work with Sycamores to provide care, compassion and hope for youth from extremely vulnerable situations and now reside at the El Nido residential campus for young men in western Altadena.
