Flintridge Bookstore Promotes Festivities for Special Day

Flintridge Bookstore recently participated in the 11th anniversary of Independent Bookstore Day.
Independent Bookstore Day was established in 2013 to promote, recognize and highlight the value of the independent bookstore community. It is organized by the American Booksellers Association, a national nonprofit trade organization that works with booksellers to ensure their success. The day is observed on the last Saturday of April every year. In 2024, more than 900 stores participated across the country.
“The celebration is a wonderful way for the community to come out and show their support of these vital brick-and-mortar businesses, but it also gives bookstores the opportunity to give back by providing an exciting day of programming and festivities for all ages,” Flintridge Bookstore stated.
There were roughly 100 people who visited the bookstore for the occasion.
