The kinders at Palm Crest Elementary School were very excited to celebrate Parents Day. For weeks they have been practicing songs. After the parents were welcome by their teachers Elizabeth Ranjbar and Ran Suzuki and music teacher Christy Swenson, they performed “Popcorn Popping,” “It is a Wonderful World” and” I love my Mommy, I love My Daddy,” plus three other songs. After the performance, they presented their moms with a long stemmed rose. They showed their parents the paragraph they wrote about them and together they made a flower craft. Refreshments were served, which everyone enjoyed.
