Lutheran Church Kicks Off Game Night Fellowship

Board games, food and fun are coming to Lutheran Church in the Foothills on Wednesday, June 5, from 6-8 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome. Bring a favorite game or play one of the many provided.
The event marks the beginning of Wednesday evening “fellowship” events at the church.
“It’s a way to feel a sense of community, meet new people or see old friends and enjoy a meal together,” an LCIF spokesperson said.
LCIF will provide a light meal each Wednesday evening, as well as a fun activity.
LCIF would also like to remind the public that on-line registration is open for its upcoming Vacation Bible School, to be held June 17-21 from 9 a.m.- noon for children ages 4 through sixth grade. Local students in grades 7-12 interested in volunteering for the event can register online as well at lcifoothills.org. Service hours are available. According to the church, this year’s vacation bible school will include singing and skits, crafts, games and lots of fun, all centered on learning about God in new ways.
Lastly, a reminder that Lutheran Church of the Foothills will hold its annual meeting of the congregation on Sunday, June 2, following a 10 a.m. worship service with Pastor Rick Hall. The meeting and potluck will be held in the Fellowship Hall. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to bring a favorite summer dish to share.
Visit lcifoothills.org for event details. For more information, email office@lcifoothills.org, or call (818) 790-1951. The church is located at 1700 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada Flintridge. Office hours are 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
