La Cañada High School hosted a Spring Signing Day to celebrate the Class of 2024 student-athletes on April 30.
Seven student-athletes put pen to paper with LCHS Principal James Cartnal in attendance. Jamie Saunders and Alan Razo will be continuing their track and field endeavors at Cal Poly University, Humboldt. For swimming, Pierce O’Grady will attend USC, while Avalon Sanders is bound for Claremont McKenna College. Joining Sanders at Claremont McKenna will be Kaitlyn Creighton, who will continue her track and field career there. Pole vaulter Erin Makhanian will head to Emory University and Emma Reed will play volleyball at Southeastern University.
