For the last time, sixth-graders at Paradise Canyon Elementary School showed their class spirit by wearing class T-shirts on promotion day.
The day started with a bagel breakfast and students receiving their yearbooks. Parents and relatives anxiously awaited the students’ arrival in the multipurpose room. Principal Carrie Hetzel welcomed everyone.
Student speakers Colin Chung, Carson DiTullio, Kyleigh Koliwad, Isabella Yang, Allie Hartford and Yaeanne Lee shared their experiences at the school.
Students proudly received their diplomas and enjoyed a slideshow displaying photos of them in kindergarten and progressing through each grade level. They enjoyed a fun game day in the afternoon before saying their final goodbyes.
