Sheriff’s Crime Report

A vehicle burglary was reported in the 800 block of Foothill Boulevard on June 6 between 1 p.m. and 1:25 p.m. The victim said that an unknown person smashed the right rear passenger window of her rental car and stole three tote bags containing multiple souvenirs, two backpacks and a bassinet. The victim left the vehicle parked on the first level of the parking structure.

A petty theft was reported in the 500 block of Foothill Boulevard on June 5 at 10:29 a.m. The victim said that an unknown person stole an envelope containing money from her purse. After she received the money from the teller, she placed the envelope containing money in her purse. The victim left the bank and saw a male adult standing by a brick wall. She started to walk away from the suspect as she made her way to her vehicle. As she walked past the ATM, she felt someone tap her shoulder and brush against the side of her body. The victim noticed it was the same man who was standing by the brick wall. After entering her vehicle, the victim drove across the street to get gas when she realized her money had been stolen from her purse. The suspect is described as 6 foot, 200 pounds, wearing a dark baseball cap, sunglasses, a white shirt and dark pants.
