Charles “Chuck” G. Schober of McKinney, Texas, passed away June 13, 2022, at the age of 88.

He was born on November 11, 1933, in West Orange, New Jersey. Chuck married Ann Kopriva on October 12th, 1953, in Bloomfield, New Jersey. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force National Guard. Chuck worked as a technical manager for many years in multiple industries, he was of the Christian faith.

Chuck was always putting his family first and not afraid of change. Right after his marriage to Ann they left New Jersey for Minneapolis, away from friends and family. They did move back to New Jersey, before taking new jobs and moving to Pennsylvania, California, and finally following his son, daughter in-law, and grandchildren to Texas.

Chuck was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.

Chuck is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Schober of Allen, Texas; son, Chuck Schober and wife, Terrilee of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Chuck Schober and wife, Cherica of Mansfield, Texas, and Madelynn Schober of Dallas, Texas; sister-in-law, Jean Schober; and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Emma Schober, and brothers Tom Schober and Warren Schober.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Turrentine-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location. Following the service, a procession made its way to Melissa Cemetery in Melissa, Texas.

The family received family and friends during a visitation on Thursday afternoon one hour prior to the service.
