George Webber Wurzel

Date of Death

George Webber Wurzel was born in Massachusetts on October 20th, 1941, and died October 15th, 2022, in Pasadena, California.  George is survived by his four siblings ML Wilson, Patty Moran, Jane Wurzel, and John Wurzel.  George was married to Pamela K. Wierman from 1962 until Pam’s death in 2001.  George and Pam had four children, George, Leslie, Tim (deceased) and Mark.

George attended Incarnation in Glendale, St. Francis High School, Cal Poly Pomona and University of Denver.  He was an Eagle Scout and loved the scouting program.  He had a love of St. Francis High School for over 60 years and was the founder of the St. Francis Hall of Fame acknowledging past athletes, coaches, and parents.

George loved to travel the world, especially Africa, which he visited 14 times to watch the animals.

George had 7 grand children who he loved dearly and was so proud of.

Funeral Service: Saturday, October 22, St. Bedes Church at 12:30 pm.
