Mary K. DeLurgio, a longtime La Cañada Flintridge resident, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 10, after a protracted battle with cancer. Mary K. was born in Mexico City on May 2, 1937.  She was an accomplished author of two books and was a Marriage and Family Therapist in La Cañada Flintridge for more than 45 years. She impacted the lives of many in our community and will be missed for a long time to come.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Joe Delurgio, and her four sons:  Joe Jr., David (Elvira), Daniel (Sona) and Adam (Maya) and seven grandchildren as well as her sister, Judy.  A celebration of her life will be held at Descanso Gardens on Friday, Jan. 6 at 10 a.m. with a reception following the ceremony at the Delurgio residence.
