Palm Crest Elementary School 4th-graders in the classes of Lara Berdahl and Julia Lee Hwang did not let last week’s rain deter their overnight trip on the Pilgrim ship. Students wore rainproof jackets and had their duffle bags stuffed with their sleeping bags and clothes, ready to board after they were dropped off by the bus. Once on the ship, they had to work as hearty crew members.
