Sunyoung Fahimi, Laura Buchanan, Kirsten Newquist, Betsy Asher Hall, Gina Ricci, Mary McMullin, Josh Epstein, Stephanie Fossan, Caroline Anderson, Claudia Dietrich-Joe, Adrineh Ghazarian, Deborah Weirick and Marilyn Yang were last year’s committee members who enjoyed the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation Spring Gala. This year’s annual fundraiser, with the theme “Moonlight in Morocco,” will be held Saturday evening, March 4, at Pasadena’s Langham Huntington hotel. The event, which supports LCUSD schools, is widely regarded as the premier LCF social event of the year, with nearly 700 guests in attendance. Weirick will be honored with the prestigious LCFEF Spirit of Outstanding Service Award for her long-standing commitment to LCUSD schools and the community.
