Palm Crest Elementary School held its annual Multicultural Night and the turnout was greater than years past. Parents, assisted by their students, put on displays representing the flag, traditions, dress and music of many countries: Armenia, Australia, Britain, Cambodia, China, Ecuador, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, India, Iran, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Norway, the Philippines, Romania, Switzerland, Thailand and Vietnam. From the United States, Hawaii and Louisiana were represtented. After everyone sampled foods from many countries and viewed the displays, the music began and students danced. The event was chaired by Mona Dietrich.
