The Assistance League of Flintridge’s bugs and botany summer school class guided its students in studying various insects, including their usefulness in the ecology and in relation to plants. They also learned the parts of plants and flowers. Students read books, watched videos, did crafts, planted and played with plastic bugs. It was a hands-on class every day.
