The third graders at La Cañada Elementary School and parent chaperones recently visited the La Brea Tar Pits.
Having studied prehistoric animals, students were able to see their skeletons up close and put their sizes in perspective. As they viewed the various exhibits, the students had assigned questions they needed to answer.
