MARKETPLACE: Monterey Colonial

First published in the April 14 print issue of the Outlook Valley Sun.

The All-Day Marketplace will be held in the garden of a stunning Monterey Colonial home on a beautiful street just south of Foothill Blvd. The home was originally designed and built in 1940 by the renowned architectural firm of Henry A. Armstrong and Company for the McFarland family. It is situated on almost an acre of a beautifully landscaped property that offers a perfect place for entertaining family and friends.
The current owners redesigned and updated the backyard in 2019 for their own family, along with painting the home a fresh bright white. Attendees can take a break from touring and shop from a wonderful selection of vendors for home décor, fashion, jewelry, ceramics, artwork, personalized gifts and more, while supporting LCHS. They can also grab a cup of coffee and enjoy a gourmet boxed lunch. Lunches are available to purchase online in advance at lacanadahometour.com. (A limited number will be available to purchase on the day). All vendors will donate a percentage of sales to support the LCHS PTAs.
